Searle, Beyond Dualism

This is just a very interesting presentation. The Chinese Room Objection is briefly mentioned, but the highlight of the video is just the clarity of Searle’s thought.

Hecht-Nielsen, The Mechanism of Thought

If you watched Searle’s Beyond Dualism then you know Hecth-Nielsen (him and Searle kind of engage in a verbal sparring match). This is a visually packed presentation and sadly the picture quality is poor. However if you’re wondering why the sparks flied in the first video this will satisfy your curiosity.

The presentation is about a new development in technology, that seems to quite interesting. (To me anyways…)
